Error codes — what they mean and how to fix them

Error Codes
When something goes wrong, Dreamsquare shows an error code to help identify the issue. Here are the most common ones.
Playback errors
- E1001 — Network timeout — Your connection dropped during playback. Check your WiFi or mobile data and try again.
- E1002 — Content unavailable — The title is temporarily unavailable. Try again later, or check if it's available in your region.
- E1003 — Playback failed — A general playback error. Restart the app and try again. If it persists, clear the app cache.
- E1004 — DRM error — There's a problem with content protection. Make sure your device software is up to date and that you're not using screen recording software.
Account errors
- E2001 — Session expired — Your sign-in session has expired. Sign in again.
- E2002 — Too many devices — You've exceeded the number of simultaneous streams or sign-ins allowed by your plan. Sign out of a device you're not using.
- E2003 — Subscription required — The content requires an active myDream+ subscription. Check your subscription status in Profile Settings.
Download errors
- E3001 — Download failed — The download was interrupted. Check your connection and storage space, then try again.
- E3002 — Storage full — Your device doesn't have enough free space. Remove some files or downloads and try again.
- E3003 — Download expired — The download has passed its availability window. Re-download the content while connected to the internet.
Other errors
- E9999 — Unknown error — Something unexpected happened. Restart the app and try again. If the issue persists, contact [email protected] and include the error code.
